Generative AI is now a core part of how students learn and professionals work. This course builds practical fluency with two of the most widely used AI tools, ChatGPT and Gemini. You will learn a structured prompting framework, draft professional documents, turn data into clear insights, build custom AI assistants, and connect AI to everyday tools like Google Drive and Calendar, all while applying a responsible approach to accuracy and privacy.

What you'll learn

  • AIP1: Describe ethical pillars of responsible AI use: human oversight, fact verification, data privacy and permissions, and AI as a thinking aid rather than a ghostwriter.
  • AIP2: Apply the prompting framework and iterative prompting to draft professional documents such as reports, emails, and concept notes using AI tools.
  • AIP3: Build and configure a custom AI assistant with tailored instructions for a specific task, such as tutoring, writing, or presentation design.
  • AIP4: Connect AI tools to workspace applications like Google Drive and Calendar to retrieve, summarize, and act on information.

It's very helpful as I have learnt some how to use Gemini one of the AI tools I had never bothered to use. Using it with google doc to make reports was one of the most interesting part and hope to capitalize on it
