Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your IGA Africa account from the mobile app or request help from our support team.

1. Delete your account in the app
- Sign in and open Profile.
- Select Account deletion.
- Review what will be removed, enter your account email and the confirmation word, then confirm.
- When deletion succeeds, the app clears your local session and cached account content.
2. Request deletion without the app
Email iga.africa@keplercollege.ac.rw from the address registered to your IGA Africa account with the subject “Account deletion request”. Include your name and institution. We will verify your identity before acting.
3. What deletion does
Deletion permanently removes the account and account-linked content that is not required for an ongoing educational, financial, safety, dispute, or legal purpose. It cannot be undone.
Some records may first be restricted or de-identified rather than erased, including payment records, issued credential records, security and audit events, or submissions an institution must retain. Backup copies expire through normal backup cycles.
4. Before deleting
- Download anything you need and resolve active subscriptions, payments, assessments, or support cases.
- Contact your institution if the account contains an official academic record.
- Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account.
