Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are and acceptance

IGA Africa is operated by Kepler College. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use IGA Africa through a school, employer, or other institution, that organization may also apply its own rules.

If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• Keep your password and verification codes confidential and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
• Use only your own account unless IGA Africa expressly authorizes another arrangement.
• Users under 16 must complete the required parent or guardian consent process. Additional institutional age rules may apply.

3. Learning services and acceptable use

Course availability, schedules, assessments, certificates, and institutional access may change. A certificate records completion under the applicable requirements; it is not a guarantee of employment, admission, licensing, or professional status.

• Do not cheat, impersonate another person, manipulate attendance or assessment results, or submit work you are not entitled to use.
• Do not harass others, post unlawful or harmful material, distribute malware, probe security, scrape the service, or disrupt its operation.
• Follow the Community Guidelines and any course or institutional rules shown to you.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Kepler College a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, display, and share that content only as needed to operate, secure, assess, and support the service and the relevant learning activity.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload. You may not upload confidential or personal information about another person without authorization.

5. Platform materials

IGA Africa software, branding, course presentation, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to Kepler College and its partners. Unless a separate licence says otherwise, access is personal, limited, revocable, and only for the intended educational use.

6. AI-enabled features

Some features use automated or generative AI. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and must not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. Important academic and administrative decisions should receive appropriate human review. See our AI Disclosure for details.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and access conditions are shown before purchase. Additional payment-provider or app-store terms may apply. Our Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.

8. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, address non-payment, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to contact support.

You may stop using IGA Africa and request account deletion. Some educational, financial, security, or legal records may be retained as described in our Privacy and Data Retention policies.

9. Service availability and liability

We work to keep IGA Africa secure and available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Otherwise, Kepler College is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or loss caused by events outside its reasonable control.

10. Changes, governing rules, and contact

We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. We will publish the effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects users.

Questions or disputes should first be sent to iga.africa@keplercollege.ac.rw. These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Rwanda, without limiting mandatory rights you may have under another applicable law.
