IGA Africa
Cookie Policy
This policy explains how the IGA Africa website uses cookies and similar local technologies.
Effective: 18 October 2026 · Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Mobile-app authentication is stored using protected device storage rather than browser cookies, although web pages opened from the app may use cookies.
2. Cookies we use
- Session cookies keep you signed in, maintain the selected campus, and support navigation. Web sessions normally expire after 72 hours and may end sooner when you sign out.
- Security cookies, including CSRF tokens, help prevent unauthorized requests. CSRF cookies normally expire after one day.
- Preference cookies may remember language, interface, notification, or accessibility choices where those features are available.
- Operational measurement may use first-party identifiers or server logs to understand reliability, performance, and feature use.
3. Third-party content
Embedded video, payment, identity, or other integrated services may set their own cookies when you choose to use them. Their policies govern those cookies. IGA Africa does not use cookies to sell personal information.
4. Your controls
You can block or delete cookies in browser settings. Blocking cookies required for authentication or security may prevent sign-in, checkout, submissions, or other core features from working.
