IGA Africa
Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
This policy explains ownership, permitted educational use, and how to report alleged infringement.
Effective: 18 October 2026 · Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. Platform and course materials
IGA Africa software, branding, layouts, and platform-created materials are owned by or licensed to Kepler College. Course materials may be owned by Kepler College, a participating institution, an instructor, or another licensor.
Access does not transfer ownership. Unless a displayed licence permits otherwise, materials may be used only for the authorized course or institutional purpose and may not be republished, sold, or distributed.
2. User content
Users retain ownership of original content they submit and grant the limited operational licence described in the Terms and Conditions. Users must have permission for third-party text, images, recordings, software, and other material they upload.
3. Infringement notices
Send a notice to iga.africa@keplercollege.ac.rw with the subject “Copyright notice”. Identify the protected work, the specific IGA Africa location, your contact details, the basis of your rights, and a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized. Include only information you are entitled to disclose.
4. Review and counter-information
We may temporarily restrict disputed material while reviewing a complete notice, contact the uploader or institution, request more information, restore material when appropriate, or remove it. Affected users may provide evidence of ownership, licence, exception, or misidentification.
Knowingly false notices may violate these Terms or applicable law.
